NBG Painting & Restoration was started in 2022 by Nick Gonthier, owner and founder. With over 10 years of experience, he has the knowledge and expertise to tackle even the toughest jobs with detail and precision.

Nick grew up in Manchester, NH, where he discovered his love of art. He moved to Portland to attend Maine College of Art and put down roots in the vibrant seaside community. When he’s not busy transforming homes, he enjoys playing piano, drawing, and spending time with friends and family.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a focus in three dimensional art. An avid drawer and painter from a young age, he discovered sculpture as a way to take his creativity from the page to the world around him. His background inspires him to bring a high level of artistry to each project.
